		Pros Incumbents are rarely defeated and quickly become entrenched in office. As career politicians, they are slaves to the next election and cannot face the issues at hand. Term limits would allow our Representatives to focus on unpopular issues.
		Cons First, term limits are not necessary. All congressmen and women face regular elections. At that time, their constituency may remove them from office. Second, a limitation may force an excellent, popular representative or senator from office. Change for change's sake is not automatically good. It would be inexpedient to remove an effective politician from office by arbitrarily imposing a limited number of terms of office.
